ruby & sage is the creative overflow of two enthusiastic Australian fibre artists who are dedicated to vibrance of colour, quality yarns, and the creation of wearable and usable art.  Kelly of Tangled Yarns, previously Dyelicious and Elissa of The Yarn Café and evoke hand dyed yarns have united to bring fellow yarn addicts a yarn club we have all been dreaming about.

We plan to introduce you to a wealth of quality yarns and ignite your creative passions with an irresistible blend of stunning colours and inspiring textures.

Each slot is for 2 months, each month you will receive your instalment of one skein of yarn with an approximate weight between 50g-100g.  

Each month will feature a delicious yarn that we personally adore, in a colour that we create just for you!  In this club everything goes – any weight yarn, fibre composition, dye method and colour – prepare to be surprised!

Instalments will alternate between Kelly and Elissa, so each slot will receive a taste of the considerable dyeing power of both Tangled Yarns and The Yarn Café. With our extensive colour palette, perfectionist qualities and years working in the dyeing industry you can be sure to experience colours ranging from beautiful pastels to deep saturation with any dye technique from subtle semi solids to bold and variegated.

All yarns are hand dyed with appropriate dyes for the fibre content. All effort is made to ensure good colour coverage, as well as wash and light fastness.

From time to time co-ordinating extras will be included.

The price of the slot includes 2x express postage to a total $16, if you would like to purchase multiple slots (ie. more than one skein of each instalment) please contact us or simply purchase 2 slots and we will refund you the difference. Overseas customers please contact us for details regarding extra shipping charges.

A taste:

September will feature a DK/8ply cashmere / merino / nylon blend, with approx. 225m per 100g skein plus an extra and October will be a divine 100% silk fingering weight yarn with approx. 420m per 100g skein.
